Earlier this year I bought an old lathe made in the 1930's. After the restauration process I decided it was time to make something fun with it for the first project.
So here is the first project I've done on my new (old) lathe. A whipping top, also known as a trompo, with a modern twist made from some aluminum rod I had laying around.

- Sand paper
